Alberni Quartet
The Alberni Quartet is one of the longest established ensembles in the UK, with a well deserved reputation as one of the most outstanding chamber groups of our time. They have performed for the music club on several occasions and we warmly welcome them again for the 2017/18 season.

Daniel Shelvey Baritone & Dylan Perez Piano

Daniel Shelvey is a graduate of RNCM and just completed the Opera course at GSMD. Amongst his many accolades, was a Kathleen Ferrier Award finalist, winner of the Richard Van Allan award 2015, a Glyndebourne Jerwood Young Artist 2014 and winner of the Frederick Cox Prize 2012.

"Gitarrissima" of Vienna
Songs for Valentine Concert. An award winning and unique ensemble of five guitarists from Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary, Japan and Russia. They create a refreshingly original sound giving a new dimension to popular classical works as well as lesser known compositions.

Alexander Panfilov Piano
Alexander studied at the Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory and at the RNCM where he won the gold medal for the best performance. He has played extensively in both the USA and Europe, broadcast on BBC radio 3 and Classic FM. He has won first prize in numerous international competitions.
